Dr. Lyn Thomson
Lyn trained at the University of Bristol in England. Shortly after graduating in 1992, she was greatly influenced by Tom Lonsdale's book Raw Meaty Bones: Promote Health. Lyn is an experienced raw-feeding veterinarian and has brought her own animals up on raw food for many years.
As far as Lyn is concerned, a species-appropriate diet is essential to the health and well-being of every animal.
RAW ESSENTIALS has grown from a need to supply Lyn’s client base with a variety of products suitable for inclusion in a diet of raw meaty bones.
Lyn is available for consultation at the Grey Lynn and Glenfield Clinics.

Anna Mair
Anna graduated as a Veterinarian from Massey University (Palmerston North) in 2003. She has also completed a Graduate Diploma in teaching, and post-graduate papers in human nutrition for health and disease at the University of Auckland Medical School.
Anna met Lyn several years ago when they were working in the same Veterinary practice. Under the influence of Lyn, she converted her arthritic ten-year-old dog, Seamus, to a raw diet, and he is still looking good at fourteen! She has supported many other dogs as they make the transition to raw feeding.
She believes passionately in a species-specific dietary philosophy in which eating for pleasure should be synonymous with eating for optimal health - both for humans and their pets.
