Dr Lyn Thomson works as a small animal veterinarian in her city practice in Grey Lynn, and on a Thursday at Pet and Vet, Milford. Lyn trained at The University of Bristol, England, graduating in 1992. Shortly after graduating from vet school Lyn was greatly influenced by reading Tom Lonsdale's book, Raw Meaty Bones:Promote Health.
Lyn is an experienced raw-feeding veterinarian and has brought her own animals up on raw food for many years. Lyn is a qualified homeopath and takes a very holistic approach to her cases. As far as Lyn is concerned, a species appropriate diet is essential to the health and well-being of every animal.
Lyn works in the Grey Lynn Clinic, alongside Elaine Bennett, UK trained animal osteopath and acupuncturist. Animal osteopathy and acupuncture complement the holistic veterinary work, and Lyn and Elaine often work together on their cases.
Raw Essentials has grown from a need to supply Lyn’s client base with a variety of products suitable to include in a diet of raw meaty bones. Knowing how hard it is to source species appropriate food for your pet carnivore, Lyn has worked hard to get as much variety in to the Raw Essentials range as possible.
And keep watching this site as this is definitely an on-going process.
