Diet Guide for a Very Small Dog (about 5kg)
Amount to Feed:
A dog under 5kg will eat up to 150g/day (about equivalent weight to three eggs).
Some very small dogs seem to live on next to nothing!
Feed once or twice a day depending on what suits you.

Rabbit Mince (80g portions in a 1kg bag)
Rabbit Shoulders (100g each in a six-pack)
Chicken Necks (80g each in a 1kg bag - make sure they are meaty)
Pilchards (100g each in a 500g bag)
Green Tripe (pellets in a 1kg bag)
Lamb Mix (70g portions in a 1kg/3kg
bag)
Tongue&Heart (70g portions in a 500g bag)
Chicken Frames (250g - some very small dogs will manage these)
All dogs will benefit from organ meats. Our Chicken Frames contain kidneys and hearts. Our minces have organ meat ground into them. We also stock organic chicken livers.
It is very important to get little dogs chewing on raw, meaty bones daily to clean their teeth. Give a Chicken Neck on a day when the dog is not chewing on a raw, meaty bone.
Any of our minced products can be fed at any time.
We suggest that you start with four weeks on one of our minces and a frozen tripe.
