REGIONAL MANAGER - Auckland

ABOUT THE ROLE

Leading the Auckland Regional network, you will ensure the smooth running of our retail stores within the Auckland region through expert advice and support. You will be trusted to make critical decisions and challenge your commercial thinking across business strategy and operational excellence. You will create structure and efficiencies that drive employee experience and development and get to bring a fresh perspective from everything operations, sales and people related.

You will be responsible for:

  • Embedding a culture of performance and engagement across the region, driving accountability through a coaching-focused, lead by example approach.
  • Overall sales performance, sales and customer service coaching, and mentoring to deliver outcomes
  • Providing advice around store operations around recruitment, roster management, store layout and visual merchandising.
  • Driving a collaborative team culture within all stores and identifying using tools to promote these initiatives
  • Actively driving business development by having expertise and awareness within the local areas and planning the strategic direction of the business
  • Enhancing customer service and experience by working closely with store staff and developing a deep understanding of customer satisfaction

ABOUT YOU

You will be someone who is flexible and a natural multi-tasker, thrives on variety, and easily interacts with a wide range of people. With a strong passion for retail your skills will include:

  • Experience in regional management operating over multi-site locations
  • Small and large business experience
  • An ability to communicate effectively across all levels in a business working collaboratively with Senior Leadership, direct reports, support teams and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of retail store operations and standards for success
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies, processes and KPI’s in a similar environment
  • A proven track record with strong coaching focused leadership skills
  • Strong and efficient communication style with good interpersonal skills
  • 5+ years within a relevant retail management or customer service focused role

WAREHOUSE STORE MANAGER - Mangere, Auckland

ABOUT OUR ROLE

Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for an experienced, physically fit team player to join our team full-time as the Warehouse Stores Manager, managing a small team of 3 warehouse staff and drivers, working 40 hours a week from Monday - Friday at our new Mangere location.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • All aspects of warehousing within the Ascot Road facility
    • Organising and management of stock levels and inventory (inwards and outwards)
    • Have a high level of accuracy when overseeing and organising the delivery of orders to our shops across Auckland
    • Managing a team of 3 drivers to ensure they get our stock out to stores in a timely fashion
    • Warehouse administration including inwards goods receipting, stocktaking and rotation along with accurate data entry skills
    • Ensuring maintenance schedules are maintained and managed for all warehouse equipment including trucks, forklifts and freezers
    • Ensure all aspects of Health & Safety and our Food Control Plan are complied with and adhered to at all times

ABOUT YOU

Our ideal candidate will:

    • Be hardworking, dependable and adaptable
    • Have proven experience in managing a warehouse and teams
    • Have good interpersonal relationship skills and the ability to work with people at all levels
    • Demonstrate strong attention to detail to ensure stock reaches the correct store
    • Have a dedicated and efficient work ethic with the ability to effectively manage a small team
    • Have a clean drivers' licence as well as the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
    • A current forklift licence with an F endorsement
    • Be physically fit - this role requires regular heavy lifting of frozen stock up to 30kg throughout the day, so a good level of fitness is needed - if you have back issues, this is not the job for you

The role is 5 days a week, Monday to Friday approx. 40 hrs with a 7.00am start.

NUTRITION ADVISOR (PART TIME) - Ellerslie

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for passionate people - who live our values of being friendly, curious, responsive and knowledgeable - to join our team. In addition to customer service and keeping the shop looking amazing, you'll be providing advice and education for pet owners, to help their dogs and cats eat their way to better health with a species-appropriate, raw diet.

We sell frozen pet food – lots of it! Our shops get regular deliveries, so as well as being great with the customers and their pets, you'll need to be strong, active and willing to get 'stuck in', in order to unpack deliveries and keep the freezers fully stocked.

Positions available include:

  • Part time at Ellerslie, Auckland - Sunday (approx. 6 hours per week)

Flexibility to cover extra shifts when needed to work across other stores would be a bonus!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include:

  • Customer Service
  • Case management
  • Stock management & stock control
  • Day to day running of the shop
  • Maintenance of customer records

ABOUT YOU

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in retail and an excellent customer service focus
  • Have strong, effective communication skills and good interpersonal skills
  • Be flexible and able to multitask effectively
  • Demonstrate a good work ethic & attention to detail
  • Be able to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Be passionate about natural animal health & well being
  • Have background knowledge/personal experience of raw feeding cats/dogs, or a strong interest in raw feeding
  • Have no issues with lifting heavy boxes (up to 20kgs) of stock
