Wild & ethically sourced New Zealand hare. Hunters operate under strict guidelines and in poison free areas. Processors asses the health of the animal prior to use in accordance with strict MPI guidelines.

• Provide your cat with a daily portion of raw food equaling to 3-5% of their current or ideal body weight

• To ensure a diverse and nutrient-rich diet, provide at least three different prey species throughout the week

• For a well-balanced diet, include up to ⅓ boneless meat to support proper nutrition and digestion

• We use various courier companies to ensure your frozen products are delivered safely. Please read the details below for information about delivery options, packaging, and other important details related to your Raw Essentials order.

  Delivery Options

  • Urgent Couriers: We deliver to most areas in Auckland, Whangarei, Waikato, Bay of Plenty and Wellington.

  • NZ Couriers: We deliver to the rest of the North Island and South Island via NZ Couriers Overnight Service. Note: While we take every precaution with thorough packaging, next-day status checks and follow-ups, delays may occur beyond our control. Make sure to track your order and reach out to us or NZ Couriers if you have any concerns.

  • Kiwi Express (Christchurch Local Only): Most Christchurch orders are delivered using Kiwi Express’s 2-3 hour courier service.

  Please Note: We currently do not deliver frozen products to rural addresses. Please ensure you provide a residential address for delivery (keep in mind we cannot prevent rural orders from being placed!)

  Important Delivery Guidelines

  • Minimum Order Quantities:
    To maintain product quality and minimize the risk of defrosting during transit, minimum order quantities are required.

  • Delivery Tip:
    To ensure your frozen products stay fresh, we recommend being at home (or nearby) to receive your order. Frozen items should be placed directly into a freezer upon delivery.

  For larger or bulk orders, couriers may leave your package outside if you're unavailable. However, this is done at your own risk, so plan accordingly to safeguard your order.

  Packaging

  We use sustainable packaging to keep your orders frozen and reduce waste.

  • Urgent Couriers Auckland Monday-Saturday: Freezer-grade cardboard box, gel ice packs, and paper.

  • Urgent Couriers & NZ Couriers Out of Auckland Regions (incl. Auckland Sunday): Freezer-grade cardboard box, wool liner, gel ice packs, and paper.
